Lay Readers
Lay Readers or Lectors take part in the Sunday worship services by reading one of the first or second lessons from Scripture aloud.
At our main service of 9:30am, there is a different lector for each of the lessons, and the psalm is read together by the congregation.
Lectors are encouraged to read their selection during the week in order to practice unfamiliar words and understand the pacing and rhythm of the piece.

There is training for lectors on a regular basis. Please contact the Chair of the Lectors if you are interested in participating in this ministry.
