The Kitchen Design team chaired by Jane Davis has been hard at work--they have finalized the kitchen design and appliance selections. You may have noticed a large hole in the patio area this past week. This was for the installation of the grease trap for the kitchen.

The duct work is going in for the new heating and air conditioning system. We also have had to do some asbestos abatement in both the old flooring and on the roof. We had included this as a line item in the budget, and fortunately the amount of asbestos was minimal. We are having weekly meetings with the contractor and job superintendent to monitor the project and to discuss issues.

Bob and Carol Tuggey have been heading up the Design Committee responsible for the selection of the color palette to be used in the hall. A color board showing samples of the selected carpet, tile, laminate and solid surface materials will be displayed at church starting last Sunday.

Coming up in July we will be running the gas line in from Eastgate Mall. This will cause some disruption in the parking lot for about one week. As soon as we know the schedule from SDG&E, we'll let everyone know.
