Adult Education

Adult Education

Adult education is a new area of growth for Good Sam. For a number of years, we have hosted Bill Creasy's bible study class, as well as through programs such as Cursillo. We also have special sessions for people who wish to join the Episcopal church as well as study sessions during Lent for any adult.

The adult education offerings on Sundays at 9:15am, held at the same time as the children's Sunday School, will be held in the central area in Roetter Hall, unless otherwise announced.

The Adult Education Lecture Series contains downloadable mp3s from past classes.

The Celtic Christianity series will explore the unique and familiar qualities of Christianity as exported by the Irish to mainland Britain and beyond, its relevance then and its relevance now by looking at the saints the island generated. Did you know that Ireland had more saints in two centuries than have occured in the rest of the world since? Saints to be discussed include St. Brigid, St. Patrick and St. Columba.

Evangelism Is Not A Four Letter Word: On April 27th, join Dan Shawler in figuring out if you have a motivation for evangelism (which is not a four-letter word but a ten-letter word as everybody knows). The answer may surprise you. Everyone interested in growing the church should plan to attend.
