Many people are baptized when they are babies or a little older. Confirmation is an adult, public statement of your faith and an acceptance of the responsibilities that were accepted for you at baptism.
A class usually precedes confirmation to make sure that your understanding is clear. These classes are usually announced in our Good Sam Notes, the Tidings and during the services. Confirmations occur once a year when the bishop visits.
