The Auction Committee has been busy, busy. We appreciate all the auction items that have been donated thus far but more would be welcome. Each item helps to fund outreach projects and the needs of the church. Here’s a sneak peek of just a few:

Silent Auction: (written bids) – Passport Dining Card: $25.00 gift card for Little Italy restaurant in Scripps Ranch; Adult Coloring books; Marshall’s Gift Card; Scripps Ranch Theater Season tickets for 2; Christmas Place Mats and runner

Oral Auction: (bids with auctioneer) – Italian Gourmet dinner; Bridge and Dessert; Downton Abbey Dinner; A New Orleans dinner;  original artwork; French Gourmet dinner,

Group Events: (Sign Ups) – Impossible Games for Adults; Line Dancing; Bunco; St. Patrick’s Day Party; Shabby Chic wine tasting

If you don’t have an item to donate, please give some thought to underwriting a portion of our auction expenses. Your tax deductible donation of $25, $50, $100, or the amount of your choice will help defray our costs. Think of yourself as one of the auction’s special angels.

The Women’s Group and Men’s Group of Good Samaritan will once again join forces in presenting Auction 2017 – Havana Nights – to be held September 23, 2017. Beth Hannaman and Linda Gallagher have accepted the chairmanship but all members of Good Samaritan are needed to make this fundraising event a success in meeting our in-house and outreach goals.

We are pleased to announce that Havana Nights will offer authentic Cuban food catered by Havana Grill in Clairemont and authentic Cuban music brought to us by our own John Cunningham and Friends.
