SKILLS INVENTORY REQUEST

A part of the developing Good Samaritan/Newman Center Disaster Preparedness Plan is an assessment of resources within the congregations.

We are seeking to identify people with the following experience or other relevant skills to be recognized and listed as resources in an emergency or disaster:

  • First responders
  • Medical personnel
  • Military and other readiness trained persons
  • HAM radio operators
  • Concealed carry permitees
  • CERT, Red Cross First Aid/CPR, other disaster preparedness trainees
  • Social service, counseling, victim advocates
  • Shelter, food providers, other relief aides
  • Handi-persons for temporary repairs to damaged church or members’ homes
  • Data base help
