The Good Samaritan and Newman Center’s Women’s Retreat will be held Friday and Saturday, March 4 and 5, 2016 in Roetter Hall here at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church.

Friday – 4:00 pm Registration; 4:30 pm “Dinner”; 9:00 End Time

Saturday – 8:30 am Sat Only Registration and Continental Breakfast; 9:00 am Start and 8:30 pm End Time

Living on the Faultline:  Spiritual Practices for the 21st Century.  

 In this retreat we will explore the four contemplative practices of stillness, silence, surrender, and gratitude…in the context of the 4 pathways of Creation Centered Spirituality:  via negativa, via positiva, via creativa, and via transformativa. Come pray, sing, talk, listen, explore, create…maybe even transform yourself…and your world!

  • The Retreat Committee is delighted to announce that the speaker is Lynn Neu. 
  • The title of the Retreat is “Living on the Fault Line:  Spiritual Practices for the 21st Century.” 

Lynn is a nationally recognized speaker, retreat leader, and author of The God Box:  Hope, Strength, Courage at Your Fingertips. 

She is a member of The Newman Center Catholic Community and for 17 years served as their UCSD Campus Minister.
