Ushers are part of the hospitality team for our services.  They greet those attending the service and provide them with a bulletin as well as any kind of information or help the guest might need.  That ranges from where are the bathrooms, to where are the classrooms for my children, or do you have enhanced listening devices?  

Lay Readers or Lectors take part in the Sunday worship services by reading one of the first or second lessons from Scripture aloud. 

To be one of those who help distribute the eucharist, you need to be trained as a Lay Eucharistic Minister.

Greeters show warmth and joy to guests who visit Good Samaritan.   A greeter is likely the first person a guest encounters at Good Sam.  The greeter explains the facility and introduces the guest to other parishioners.

Our goal is to glorify the Lord and His creation through flowers. We take turns doing the weekly flower arrangement which is behind the altar. We also all work together to decorate the church for Christmas and Easter.
