Soaking Prayer
Second Friday of the Month from 7pm to 8:30pm
Soaking prayer is a communal worship time that involves resting in the presence of the Lord and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in your heart. It is a time we set aside to quiet ourselves and devote our attention and our hearts to Our Heavenly Father, Our King, Our Sovereign Lord. He so desperately wants to reveal His passionate love for us. The old word for Soaking would be "tarrying." To "soak" in God's presence is to rest in His love rather than to "strive" in prayer.
We will play intimate worship music and read scriptures. These sessions are covered in prayer to create a safe place for you to hear from God.
Soaking prayer occurs on the second Friday of the month, lasting from 7pm to 8:30pm in our church. You may come and go at any time, as you need.
