Advent Chili Dinner

Strong fellowship programs have always been an important foundation at Good Samaritan.  Weaving them into our faith community, we create warm, loving, and meaningful experiences.  Over the years, various programs have grown and faded, and many one-time fellowship functions spontaneously arise each year.

One regular activity is family games night (see more information below).

The vestry sponsors an annual ingathering Thanksgiving dinner that concludes our fall stewardship campaign. 

The men's group hosts the advent chili dinner at Christmas time. 

Summer breakfasts are hosted each week by a different ministry group and are held between services to bring the congregation closer together. 

The annual summer beach party, and the bi-annual parish auction bring us together for fellowship.

These are but a few selected examples of how we gather to have fun together.

Our family games night usually happen one Saturday night a month. It's often the third Saturday, but sometimes we have to adjust the schedule. If you want to be notified of the next family night, sign up for notices and choose the "Good Sam Families" option.

Each night runs from 4:00pm - 7:00pm.

Past games nights have included movies for children, an "Apples to Apples" marathon, Twister, card games.

Food has ranged from potluck to pizza to BBQ.

This is a great opportunity to have some social time with new and old friends alike.
