Progress on Our Strategic Plan
Below, you will find how each ministry and the vestry are doing in achieving their goals over this period. Much prayer and hard work continues as all ministries develop action plans for implementing our Strategic Plan.
As of May 2012, Goal 1 (communications strategic plan) is on hold for all ministries while a communications team is formed.
Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care Ministry is the first to complete two of its goals for 2012. Congratulations!
- the ongoing goal, "maintain the position of Parish Nurse" is fulfilled for 2012.
- In addition, the ministry has "started a ministry for seniors in the congregation" (Goal 3.) If you are interested in getting involved in the ministry for seniors, please contact Barb Theiss. This is a developing ministry so it will be interesting to see where God leads it.
- two new activities in cooperation with the Newman Center to add to the Ash Wednesday service and sermon exchange (Goal 3). These activities are: a joint Advent choral celebration and a joint Good Friday service.
