Good Samaritan Episcopal Church

The members of the Vestry invite everyone in our parish to become more involved in reaching out to our neighbors with a focus on four specific areas:

Poverty
Military
International concerns
UCSD community

The theme for this year is reflected in the Outreach logo which we have developed (above). Every ministry and group within the congregation is encouraged to develop and undertake projects. $32,000 in seed money is available to support outreach efforts. We currently have many great outreach programs underway with many more to come. Look for the "Being His Hands" logo each week in the Sunday Notes as we highlight the various service opportunities available for you to volunteer.

The vestry is a group of parishioners, elected for a three year term, who guide the church strategically and tactically.

In the table below, the year indicates the last year that each person serves their three year term.

Each vestry member is the support person or liaison for the various areas of ministry here at Good Sam.
